A Four-Month Challenge
For four exciting months, NCAA Football 10 game owners will have the opportunity to prove just how far they’re willing to go to prove their school spirit. Even game novices have a chance to contribute since Season Showdown offers several ways for players to score enough credits to drive their team all the way to the championship.
How to Score Credits
There are five main ways for a player to score credits in NCAA Football 10 Season Showdown.
Versus CPU
If you want to test the mettle of EA Sports’ A.I. players then go ahead and every match you win will contribute the necessary credits to your school. Playing the versus CPU mode is your best chance of helping your school reach the finals if you can’t afford to stay online for a long time and battle live players.
Online versus Nation
It’s just you – and your school – against the world, a.k.a. other schools in the league. Regardless of whichever team your live opponent is supporting, a win is a win and it shall be counted in your school’s favor.
Online versus Showdown Opponent
Another way to score credits for your school is by meeting your assigned showdown opponent on the field. When regular season begins, your school’s showdown opponent will be whichever team your school is squaring up against for the week in real life. If you can’t make it to the game, the next best thing you can do is fight for your team…online!
Allies and Rivals
Whoever says making friends – or enemies – don’t matter in video game football clearly doesn’t know anything about NCAA Football 10 Season Showdown. In the real world, having a lot of allies can give you home court advantage while having a long list of opponents might make it more difficult for your team to climb its way to the championship.
In Season Showdown, every player has the right to vote five different schools each week, regardless of how that player’s respective school is faring. Naturally, the team with the most number of allies has the greatest chances of winning this category. And when you have this part cornered, then you only have two more categories to worry about.
