There are two different kinds of video game accessories in China. One is official licensed product, another is clone product.
Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft had authorized the third party manufacturers to make video game accessories for them. Products from these "authorized" manufacturers are original and all rights reserved. Usually, you will enjoy their quality guarantee service throughout the country. Just send the defective item back to the repair shop in your country and they will fix it. But remember that different original accessories don't always apply to every nation. For example, you bought a Wii remote control which is only published in Japan, and this item can not enjoy its warranty on UK although it is original.
A company produces hardware to be sold under another company's brand. (Software with this label includes just a shrink-wrapped CD, without printed manual, without being inside a box). We call it "OEM"- short for "Original Equipment Manufacturer".
This is the common accessories you buy from China. They are not official licensed, so there is nothing to do with game console companies if any unexpected problem occurs. That means you have to take the risk yourself when buying these products. In this case, negotiating with seller in advance is the crux of the matter. Only the seller who can provide you warranty service in case you buy OEM video game accessories from China can it be reliable and perennial business partner.
