What is a Modchip?
It is a kind of Popular chip,
used on modifying a video game console.
Why we should modify our own console?
No one wanna pay so much on playing games; it is the best way on saving money for a serious player: There are two kinds of Games for our consoles available, one is in super high price - Offical One , the other one is in super low price - OEM One ; modchip is working on deliquescing technical program insetted in our console, in order to make it supporting the OEM Game Disc.
What's the difference between a modified console and unmodified one?
Supports OEM games or not - it is only difference; modchips wont destroy your console when the soldering/connecting work is in the same way like the diagram shows. ( do make it step by step and carefully )
How to make the modchip working?
Open your consoles shell , Following the installation guide doing some soldering work or coneecting several cables , having a test when it is installed , cover the shell when it works well.
DIY:
Step 1.Make Sure about the Code# of your console,
Step 2.Search the suited modchips and study the features,
Step 3.Turn Off the Power ,Open your console and double check the Code# of your console motherboard,
Step 4.Download the Diagram and study it first , make sure you know all details on soldering or connecting,
Step 5.Following the diagram,Install the modchip ,
Step 6. Turn On the Power and Test your console when the chip is insetted,
Step 7. Turn Off the Power and Cover the shell when the chip is working well/Smoothly.
Make sure your console is off power while you are having above work on it!!!
Can i Use such Modified Console to visit internet?
No doubt , it is ok . You can use it to get on line and search all information like the unmodified one .
Modified Console supports Hard Disc? May i use it to watch movice?
Em, yes. But some brand modchips cannot support HDD; you should pay attention on the features or instruction / description of the modchip , and make clear what function / version you are needed before you are goona get it ; since not all modchips support Hard Disc.
