Performance is the Key

To learn magic quickly and easily, one must also have the basic knowledge of entertaining an audience. An essential part of this mystical feat is not to hold your viewer's attention to whatever is in your hand. You have to look at them straight in the eye and divert their attention to the questions you ask.
