Reasons to get excited about a Windows mobile softphone

Having Windows mobile on your smartphone lets you do even more with your wonderful gadget than you could before, but a Windows mobile softphone opens up the horizons even further.  Whereas the point of Windows mobile is to make your smartphone even more like a computer, a Windows mobile softphone concentrates on the original purpose of a cell phone – communication.  This piece of computer software will really change how you look at your smartphone, as it will no longer be a palm computer that you can also use to make calls, albeit very expensive calls.  With a Windows mobile softphone you will be able to use your smartphone to make calls as often as you used to do so on your cell phone, but for a fraction of the price.  You won’t need to think about whether you really need to make that call anymore, about whether or not you can afford the expense – it’s all going to change.

You may not know exactly what a Windows mobile softphone is, so let me explain: Windows mobile is a computer program that you download onto your smartphone to help it do all those computer-type things.  A softphone is a computer program that you put on a computer that enables you to, wait for it, to make phone calls over the internet.  Have you figured out why this is such a big deal?  Do you know how much you pay every time you make a call on your smartphone?  Quite a lot, right?  Well, not anymore.  With a Windows mobile smartphone you can make calls from your smartphone without using the cell phone network.  That’s right.  You can make a call from your cell phone without actually needing a cell phone signal.  That means that you don’ t need to use your minutes, because you only pay for those when you use the cell network, not when you use the internet.

And that is what a Windows mobile softphone will do for you, allow you to use the internet to make your cell phone calls, just as you probably already have in the past in an internet café when you were on vacation.  If you have access to a wireless internet connection, you can use it for more than surfing the net and checking your email or updating your Facebook.  You can also use it to make actual voice phone calls, without paying the vast amounts that you will be charged by the cell phone company if you use their network.  This means that you no longer have to worry about how much it is going to cost you to make a call.  You can make that call, and a bundle of others, for the same price as one call via the cell phone network.  Now you don’t have to hoard your cell phone minutes for absolute emergencies only, you can just dial up the people you need to talk to with your Windows mobile softphone and keep in touch, just as you used to on your old cell phone which didn’t cost nearly so much to make calls on.

Business can sometimes be won and lost on the strength of a product that is given away at a conference, trade show or networking event. The products that are the most effective are those which are either in keeping with the theme of an event or those which a person can get the most use from.
