When making for the internet, one aspect of the web-site that must mindful attention is colour. opting for colours absent of meaning or wisdom could drive away internet users from the site. using the spot oncolours with meaning and understanding could effect to a better web-site.

Knowing some colour psychology and symbolism is essential in knowing what colours affect people in certain ways. colour perception is linked strongly to feelings & emotions such as happiness, sadness and lust.

Colours can also effectively display contrast and highlight sections of a webpage that you might want the user to interact with such as a promotion box or a purchase now button.

White is a minimalist colour. associated with simplicity, purity & cleanliness, it can be used to draw attention to images.

Purple isn't a truly popular colour in designing for the internet, because it is perceived as pretty feminine and gives the impression of arrogance, finances, luxury and indulgence.

Orange is associated with fire, enthusiasm, heat & danger. But it is also a truly friendly & youthful colour that's often used in sites aimed at youth culture.

Tradition, stability, depth & mother earth are all associated with brown. But it is truly similar to green in the fact that it is also related to trees, nature & calm.

Colour psychology can play a huge role in creating a successful site. to create a subliminal expectation among the site user can be a powerful sales tool. picking colours thoughtlessly can inadvertently put users off the site. making colour combinations that guide users to an end goal can generate more sales leads and remove stress from the user experience.
