If you want to sell bananas, you might think yellowtoyou.com would be a good name, but it's horrible. You want to have your main keyword in your domain name, like buybananas.com or something like that. This will ensure that people searching to buy bananas will find you. Well, it's not certain, but it's a good start.
Got the domain, now what?
Now you need a website and a host. The host is the company that stores the files for your website and makes it visible to the public. It's not too complicated at all.
Now for the website I would highly recommend Wordpress. Those sites are easy to edit, come in a vast array of different styles that fit any webiste you can think of and they rank very well in Google.
There is a way you have to optimize these sites so that you can reach page on of Google and get enough traffic to make some cash. It's pretty easy and after you do it once you'll have it down pat.
