One of the most frequently and productively used Flash tool is the Rectangle Tool of Flash. With this Flash tool, you can draw rectangle of any width or height. By holding down the Shift key, you can even draw squares all easily.
By setting the corner radius in the given option, you can even have rounded edges. By clicking the Round Radius button in the Options section of the toolbar, you can see a dialog box appearing. In the text field, you can type numeric value between 0 and 999 which represents the corner radius. Instead of clicking the Round Radius button in the Options section of the toolbar, you can also double-click the Rectangle Tool in the toolbar.
Coloring a rectangle shape is a completely easy business. All you need to do is to choose a stroke color in the color portion of the Tools panel or Properties Inspector. If you don’t want to choose any color, the No Stroke button comes handy for you. By clicking the button to the right of the No Stroke button, you can bring up the Color Picker thus helping yourself choosing custom color.
Web site Flash design can always achieve more with the Rectangle Tool – it has got options to snap to objects, smooth, or straighten. In any Flash web design project, these options can be fruitfully used.
