SEO Copywriting an Important Factor in Search engine rankings

Search engine optimization (SEO) copywriting is an art and science of presenting or writing search engine friendly content. SEO copywriting is all about placing the keywords at the right position. The keywords should be pertinent and capable to connect, inform and convince the search engine spiders, and the human readers. The objective of SEO Copywriting is to feed search engines with genuine content pages and not additional pages (often called "doorway pages") that are created for the sole purpose of achieving high rankings. SEO Copywriting is an important factor in search engine rankings as it helps your site to be friendly with viewers as well as with search engines. It helps your site attain the right and exact balance of getting relevant traffic to your website and converting that traffic into business. SEO copywriting is an integral part of high quality content writing India.

To be an effective SEO copywriter or content copywriter make sure your website maintains a consistent theme throughout all the pages. You should have a firm grasp of the keywords you are going to use. Make sure your content is not only laced with keywords but is also going to provide relevant valuable information, you provide an original title tag whenever you add a new page to your web site, you place the keywords at places where it is most likely to be seen by viewers. You can place the keyword in the article's title, in the article's URL, in the first paragraph, in one h2 tag and h3 tags, in an alt tag of an image. Also, boldface the keyword once and use the keyword phrase 3 or 4 times in the article. Other tips include using keyword synonyms, adding meta tags, using texts and not images, keeping content original, optimize the whole website, have the right number of words, using internal and external links, creating a landing page, checking statistics regarding the number of viewers and the type of viewers.

You can also try the following tricks to make content more SEO friendly. Use bold and italics as search engines give more weight to words and phrases that are in bold and italics. Use bullet points as it helps in breaking up your copy into consumable pieces, aids in the clean design of your page and makes it easy for the reader to "go back" and reference previous points without wasting time to read dense copy. Use examples to support your content with relevant keywords. Be concerned about the keyword density. It is recommended that you use no more than 4 sets of keyword or phrases per page. Remember, there are many techniques that can increase ranking of a webpage among search engines and SEO copywriting is just one of them.
