Choosing Your Wine For Your Wedding Reception

We all know that wine is very popular to have at your wedding. Many couples can simply agonize over which type of wine they wished to serve. Sometimes they agonize over whether to choose white, red or rose wine. Not everybody is a connoisseur and sometimes if you like a particular wine does not mean that everybody else is going to like it. With this in mind, you may need to speak to a specialist and wine stockist who will be able to give you some friendly advice.

You really have a couple of options here you can do some research on the Internet as there are many websites dedicated to the subject. You can also contact a local wine stockist and discuss your meal plan with them. Believe it or not these people are experts and do this every single day the week and this is not something you should be intimidated by because they have expertise in this field.

Once you have chosen a wine it's now time to do a little bit of research to see what sort of value you are getting. But first, you need to check which your wedding venue if they can supply this wine or if you can supply it yourself. Some venues simply do not allow this, some venues allow this but will charge you a corkage fee and if you are lucky enough you will find a venue that will allow you to bring in as much ink as you like without any costs. No matter what the case if you are still going to purchase your own wine make sure you do some research on the Internet to find out who can offer you the best value.

I remember being at a wedding a few months ago and the bride and groom supplied all the wine that they had purchased on the Internet themselves. They did have to pay the hotel a corkage fee but because they got such value for money it was much cheaper. They also knew a little bit about wine so the wind was a very exclusive wine that the hotel did not stock. It was amazing to reaction that people gave to this beautiful wine because it was absolutely perfect with their meal. In the evening time when the meal was finished there was lots of wind still left in the hotel were happy enough that the guests could bring the wine to the evening reception. All in all this was a fabulous location and it goes to show if you choose the right wine in the right location it can be a wonderful event.
