More and more people are escaping the UK recession and cruise the internet for dream locations at affordable prices. Everything about the UK feels grey and gloomy so it’s no wonder Cyprus Weddings are the top choice for couples planning weddings abroad. Cyprus weddings stand out and tick all the boxes for the discerning bride to be.
South West Cyprus is drawing hopeful brides in droves. Crystal waters and golden sands bring a very relaxed feel to the perfect wedding. These aren’t just your average Mediterranean beaches they are first class lapping water and gentle breezes etch on the memory and makes for an unforgettable day.
Many of Cyprus’ top hotels are licensed for weddings. A hotel wedding on the face of it doesn’t quite the glamour of an English Castle. You couldn’t be more wrong. Hotels have outside wedding venues amongst beautifully tended gardens and exotic plants. Picturesque white pagodas set against blue skies and turquoise seas.
Hotels are the ultimate professionals when it comes to the finer details of wedding planning. From table decorations to entertainment they have it covered. They are well practiced at meeting the needs of even the most demanding brides. So while you’re taming your nerves they look after the practice things.
Most of the main wedding hotels have their own wedding coordinator. What does this mean? Well to sum it up, they take you step by step through the whole day. Making sure that everything runs smoothly: that everyone knows what to do, where to be and at what time. All you have to worry about is looking gorgeous. They’ll even make sure that you don’t run out of bubbly.
The standards of food in the hotels have always been very high in Cyprus. BBQ are very popular for Cyprus weddings and the spread of food always looks impressive. Yet despite a big variety of tempting dishes and mouth watering treats there is always stack left over.
So what are the top wedding hotels in Cyprus? In the south west Ayia Napa and Protaras are home to some of the best. In Protaras, there is the Sunrise Hotel, Capo Bay, and The Golden Coast Hotels. Ayia Napa has The Grecian Sands, Nissi Beach Hotel, Adams Beach Hotel and the Olympic Lagoon. Not forgetting the Grecian Park at Cape Greco. Where to start? Decide what’s most important. Do you need a hotel that is geared towards children, has a beach front location? Narrow it down then contact the hotels for prices. Look at as many pictures and wedding videos as you can find. Read forums and take advice. Ultimately go for what is right for you. We all have our own idea of the perfect wedding.
