How to Save Money on Your Wedding Invitations

Your wedding invitations should be beautiful and unique to you for your special day. You have spent countless hours planning an event that will be special, fun and beautiful for you and your friends. You have carefully thought through every detail from the decorations to the catering. You have planned colors, charted seating arrangements, combed over magazines and advice books to make sure the day is perfect. Whether your day will be casual or formal, indoors or in the great outdoors, you want an invitation that reflects the spirit of the day.

Wedding invitations are the first chance you will have to introduce your guests to the joy and significance that you place in this day of commitment. The last thing you want is a cookie cutter design from an off-price press. You will want a choice of designs, inks, letterings and the ability to supply your own announcement text. You will want to choose an invitation that fits your personalities and your plans for the big day. Modern and contemporary, unique and casual, elegant and old fashioned. Luckily there are as many possibilities for invitation design as there are styles of wedding dresses. You are sure to find the invitation that is perfect for you.

When it comes to a printer for your wedding invitations there are some specific things you should look for. Will the printer provide sample so you can ensure the quality is what you need and expect? Will envelopes be included? What are the shipping fees? How long will it take to process your order? Will the printer provide a proof copy before printing? Will the printer accommodate special requests, for example: 2 ink colors or different fonts etc? Do they print with thermography or raised lettering? Most importantly, what is their process if you are dissatisfied?  Choose a printer for your invitations that answers all of these questions directly with no dissembling. The printing world is highly competitive and that means you do not have to choose a printer that is less than forthcoming with you.

You wedding invitations are your chance to proclaim your love to the world. Everyone from close friends to distant family will enjoy getting your invitation. Take the time to ensure that it adequately represents you and your love. If you choose a printer with a broad variety of invitations to choose from, the reputation for good work and the willingness to answer your questions you can’t go wrong. Take the time to ensure that your invitations will be as beautiful and unique as your day itself.
