Nissi Beach Hotel is fast becoming the first choice venue of brides planning a Cyprus wedding. So what is all the fuss about?
Location
Nissi Beach is the jewel in the crown of Ayia Napa’s beaches. The shallow turquoise waters create a vivid backdrop to those all important wedding photos and videos. In fact the beach is so stunning you could be forgiven for thinking you were in the Caribbean. If you want photos on the beach you need to wait until about 1730-1800 but they are definitely worth getting.
The Gardens
The gardens of the hotel features an architecture of towering palm trees. Stunning walkways covered in fuchsia pink and white climbers contrasting blue skies. The mature gardens make this place a videographer’s dream. The wedding venue itself is under white canopies over looking the crystal waters. This provides plenty of shade which is welcome relief from the heat of the day. Some photographer and videographers have Show Reels online so you can see exactly what the venue look like.
Wedding Reception Venues
There is a choice of reception venues the most popular being the Rondavel. This place is perfect for a Cyprus wedding party. Set at one end of the beach, as the sun sets it throws beautiful pink light across white linen. The round white pagoda provides plenty of space for eating and dancing. There are two tiers to the building. The upper tier is usually used for the disco. As the sun fades away the water shimmers like black satin. It feels very romantic. Tables are laid with white lanterns which help create the ambience. The venue also has it’s own bar so the drinks can flow into the night.
Planning Your Day
Having you hair and make up done is all part of being pampered on your big day. The salon has excellent hairdressers who have made bridal hair into an art form. The last thing you need is to be sweating in your room, struggling to get your hair to stay up and keep your tiara in place. The good news is, Cyprus weddings are very relaxed so don’t get bogged down with the constricting traditions. If you have a gap between you photos and the reception you could have you speeches then. There are no rules so design the day the way you want.
Things To Remember
Don’t forget your confetti for the photos and bubbles for the first dance. They make great pictures and video.
Wedding Coordinators
The Hotel has a lovely wedding coordinator who will help you with anything you need. They can give you assistance on booking dates and paper work. You do need to book early though as dates can get booked up 2 years in advance.

The internet provides an enormous amount of information and resources all at you finger tips. You can find suppliers see there work and get them booked all without leaving the comfort of you arm chair.
