Telluride Wedding Information

Deep in the heart of the San Juan Wilderness rests the town of Telluride, Colorado. With it’s jagged peaks and wildflower soaked mountains, this town plays the perfect host for mountain weddings. When planning a mountain wedding it is first important to select the ideal accommodations and lodging for your guests. Some guests have varying budgets, so it is important to factor in cost associated with your hotel or condo rental. Hotels in Telluride range from lavish 5 star amenities to economy minded travelers. An advantage to booking a hotel in Telluride or Mountain Village is that your wedding party will be at the same location which provides easy access to all persons involved with the ceremony and reception.

Telluride condo rentals are also a popular option for guests who want the spaciousness of a 1-4 bedroom unit. Many of the condominium complexes in both Telluride and Mountain Village will accommodate group bookings. In order to block out enough room for your celebration, it is advisable to look at least a year in advance.

Once you have the wedding lodging sorted out, it is now time to find the perfect venue for your big day. Some venues in Telluride accommodate indoor and outdoor ceremonies which, in case of bad weather, is a great thing. Telluride receives 300+ days of sunshine, but inclement weather can roll through the mountains at anytime. In case of this, your indoor outdoor wedding venue will be a wedding saver!

Here are some options for wedding venues in Telluride, Colorado. These locations provide you with many opportunities to express your sense of style and personality.
