'Wedding' is the word that everyone gets pleased with it, that gives a new turn in their life. Everybody goes through this happiest moment. Durability of marriages is different in different countries. In western countries, marriages end in short period. It is assumed that the marriages in western countries live only for around eleven years.

Marriage or wedding ceremonies completes with various ways and customs in every corner of the world. Every country has its own methods for these special events and for other occasions that also depends on religion, caste and many other things. Wedding ring is the very common part of the ceremony that is being used in western as well as in eastern countries. However, in many countries it means for some different things according to their customs.

India is the country, which is having many differentiations in all things including language, customs, dressing, food and many more. In India, wearing a ring means the before marriage legal commitment with each other. Ring is the symbol of commitment with each other. Where as, in western and eastern countries, wearing ring to each other means the complete marriage.

There are various customs that takes place during wedding ceremony in different parts of the world. Vows or we can say promises used during ring exchange are the most common custom in western and eastern countries. These are the promises that bring an extra pleasant environment for the occasion. The vows also play an important role to bring a new life in couple’s life in their married life.
