Most people think all you have to do to lose belly fat is to do sit ups or crunches. Doing exercises anytime is a good idea and if you are doing sit ups and crunches you will be toning and strengthening your abdominal muscles. But, they won’t provide the belly fat weight loss you are looking for. These belly fat weight loss tips will help you lose belly fat, get flat abs, and put you on your way to 6-pack abs.
Here are some solid belly fat weight loss tips that will deliver results and help you reach your goals:
Plan on losing 1-2 lbs. each week. Any more than this will be fluid and muscle loss. Your body will be harmed if you lose more than a pound or two per week. When you slowly melt the fat off, it stays off.
Eat a healthy breakfast. If you start the day with your body in the starvation mode you will be struggling all day to get on track. You will feel hungry all day and your body will tend to store fat more readily.
Limit the amount of saturated fat you consume each day. Stay away from fried foods when possible.
Do some form of aerobic exercise in the morning. Starting your day with cardio exercise will also rev up your metabolism to burn fat all day.
Push some weight. It doesn’t matter if it is free weights, weight machines, or your own body weight but do some form of resistance training. Muscle burns more calories than fat. When you add muscle to your chest, back, arms, and legs you are helping burn fat off your belly.
