Best New Diets 2009 - Find Out What Was Named Diet Of The Year For 2009

So what's the best new diet of 2009 anyway? Is it the acai berry diet, the banana diet, or some other fad diet? Of course not, we're talking about real world results here and what really counts. Its quite funny how the most popular diets can many times be the absolute worst ones, however this diet I plan to explain to you is far and beyond the best diet to appear in the past 5 years.

It's Called Calorie Shifting

Calorie shifting has some very basic concepts, although they appear strange to many people who are accustomed to most other diets.

These concepts are:

  • Eating full meals every day to burn more fat
  • Focusing on boosting the bodies metabolism instead of cutting calories
  • No Starving
  • No Rebound Effects
  • Continue burning fat after you stop the diet

So these must sound like pretty foreign ideas but they're the foundations of how calorie shifting works. You see unlike all other diets, calorie shifting requires you to constantly shift your eating habits on a day to day basis. The purpose of this is to essentially dis-allow your metabolism from finding a comfort zone where it can drop your metabolic rate back down. By continuing on this diet of constant change you cause your metabolism to never rest and stay active at all times. This is the key to why calorie shifting works so well, you're focusing on and improving the factor that determines how many calories your body burns per day more than anything else.
