Best Slimming Advice

We all want to be slim and slender. And we are often envious of those girls who are naturally skinny. How to achieve this? I bet lots of us have tried various diets without much success. However, I have a few tips for girls who would love to be slim.

Number one advice is never to be on a diet. This is totally pointless. Once you have finished your diet, you only going to jump on food and gain weight again. So rule number one – never be on a diet! Rather, keep watching what you eat all the time and make it a habit. For example, refuse cakes and buns as a rule and treat yourself to it on special occasions. The same goes for all types of fatty and dangerous foods.

Rule number two: try to eat at regular times and don’t eat between meals. Have a nice healthy lunch with plenty of vegetables and potatoes (with not butter of course) and wait until your dinner. Don’t pick crisps and don’t go for all those midday lattes – they are the killers. You can have a cup of skinny latter if you are desperate for some food but don’t have anything to eat. Just wait until your dinner – and then you can truly pig out on something you really like. Then again, try to go for lots of vegetables and have a skinny yogurt for your pudding.

Rule number three. Avoid heavy breakfast. The theory goes that your body is not ready to digest food early in the morning and it’s likely to go directly to fat. If you wait until your lunch then the chances of all the vitamins being digested properly are much greater and you are less likely to gain weight.

Rule number four. Don’t eat just before you go to bed. This is very bad for your digestion, your night sleep and your figure. Have you dinner at around seven and wait until you go to bed at 11-12 without having anything to eat. Like this, you give your body a chance to digest your dinner and let you sleep without putting any calories on.

Rule number five. Avoid sugars. Don’t take tea of coffee with sugar! Just tell yourself: sweet enough! Don’t eat cakes, avoid too much bread, and avoid puddings. The best substitute for a proper pudding is low fat yogurt. It is perfect, sweet, cheap, and gentle on your body and figure. And you will soon learn to love yogurt and will not think of any other pudding! It is important to treat yourself once in a while to a nice meal in a restaurant. Then go for anything you like, including a nice fatty chocolate cake. This is your time! Don’t forget you are not on a diet and you deserve to eat anything you like when you feel like it. This is an important psychological moment that can help you through your slimming regime.

Everybody speaks about exercising. I would not overdo it! It can make you feel hungry and you will eat a lot to compensate you energy expenditure. Instead do a gentle morning exercise without much pressure just to keep yourself in shape.

And one most important thing. Keep dating, if you are single or keep up your romance alive if you are in a relationship.
