Ghrelin is a hormone that makes you feel more hungry, while Leptin is a hormone that suppresses your appetite and control's your cravings. Getting at least seven to eight hours of sleep can help in lowering your body's Ghrelin levels so you do not feel hungry, and increase your Leptin levels so your body will be able to suppress your appetite for a longer period of time.
Try to eat on blue plates and use other blue dinnerware. It may sound weird, but studies have shown that the color blue naturally suppresses the appetite. On the other hand, the colors red, orange, and yellow have been known to increase one's appetite. So if you want to lose weight, use blue plates, placemats, napkins, etc.
