Eat more proteins. Protein rich foods include chicken, fish, and whey protein. If you are eating poultry or fish, it is best that they be served baked. Protein helps the body to build more muscles which raise your body's metabolism levels so that you can burn even more fat. Also, your body burns the most calories when it digests protein compared to other types of food other than fruits and vegetables.

Eat more dairy products. Dairy products include milk, cheese, and yogurt. These foods are rich in calcium which is great for the fat breakdown in the body's fat cells. Studies have shown that people who low fat dairy products for about 4 times a day were able to lose almost 70% more fat. Calcium helps suppress Calcitriol, which is a hormone that makes the fat cells in the body bigger. Also, dairy products help in suppressing the body's appetite.
