One of the keys to losing weight is changing your relationship with food. For many of us this relationship has been programmed into our subconscious mind from childhood. You may have been told as a child to eat everything on your plate, or seen a parent use food to cope with an emotion. Diets tend to be a temporary solution, and most of the time you gain the weight back once you get off the diet. Hypnosis aligns your conscious and subconscious mind to work together to achieve lasting change.
Hypnotic weight loss program includes these 7 steps:
1. Eating when hungry
Emotional Eating is the single biggest issue for overweight people. As you become aware of the mind and body connection by journaling your feelings, you begin to understand that food cannot satisfy an emotion.
2. Eating slowly to feel satisfied
As you become aware of everything that you put in your mouth you begin eating mindfully. By chewing your food slowly, enjoying every bite, you stop eating when you feel satisfied.
3. Eating for fuel and nutrition
Author of "Thinking Thin", Tom Nicoli says to think of food as fuel, and our bodies as a car. You would not put the wrong type of fuel or too much fuel in your car, so why would treat your body any differently. In order for our bodies to run efficiently we have to eat for fuel and nutrition.
4. Eating less
Do you really need all that food on your plate? Many of us are programmed to never leave any food on our plate. New programming allows you to naturally and effortlessly eat less food.
5. Acceptance of yourself
A very important part of creating this new relationship with food is accepting yourself and not beating yourself up as your mind and body learns new programming.
6. Staying motivated
Motivation is the key to maintaining your weight loss goals. The key to staying motivated is to create a plan that's enjoyable, flexible and easily attainable.
7. Consistent exercise
A consistent exercise program has many benefits including releasing stress, boosting energy, and helping maintain weight control. When creating an exercise program, many people aim too high and end up giving up. Hypnotic techniques will allow you to discover just how fun that exercise can be.
