Do you think you have to do something extreme to lose weight and keep it off? Just the opposite is true!People often underestimate the power of these changes and think that it is just a waste of time.Little do they know...it's actually the small, simple changes you make that have the best and lasting results and I will prove it to you, read the following changes:

)Eat slowly:relax, put your fork or spoon down between every bite. Drink water frequently. If you eat slowly enough, your brain will get the message on time that you are no longer in need of food. Also if you eat slower, you'll chew your food better, which eventually leads to better digestion.

)Increase physical activity:physical activity helps you control your weight by using excess calories that would otherwise be stored as fat.Physical activity may include:walking, running, playing basketball, tennis or other sports. One good tip here is to find one activity that you have fun with as it will be more probable to stick with.

)Drink real fruit juice:Fruit drinks from the supermarket are full of sugar and often contain only a small percentage of fruit juice. Freshly squeezed fruit juice is a better choice. The best choice is to eat a piece of fruit rather than drink the juice. The whole fruit has fiber which slows down your digestion and you will feel full for longer.

)Switch margarine and vegetable oil to olive oil: margarine and vegetable oil are made from chemically produced hydrogenated oils, also known as trans fat and they are dangerous for our health. Olive oil have many health benefits and is rich in good fats.

)Switch To Skimmed Milk:skim milk is without any doubt a healthier option and very essential, if you want to lose weight. And to top that, skim milk is packed with all the nutrients of the whole milk.

)Watch less TV:If you miss one tv programme or an episode from your favourite soap opera it won't hurt.Go for a walk instead to burn some extra calories.
