Chronic fatigue is a problem that affects many, many people around the world. It leads to stress, which mutates into a host of medical problems. In today’s busy, busy society with non-stop connectivity, it’s very easy to become fatigued. In this article, I want to discuss a couple easy steps to help you alleviate this problem.
Let’s start with getting ready for bed. The worse thing you can do is just hop into bed at the exact moment you want to start sleeping. You need to give yourself and you mind time to be ready for shutdown.
I recommend getting ready for bed (meaning shutting down tv, email, etc) an hour before you want to sleep. Think about taking a hot bath or doing something very relaxing. Certain hot teas can also aid you here.
Another thing you can do to help your body “process” better is to get the right amount of exercise. You don’t need to spend all day at the gym, but if you can’t at least walk for 30 minutes a day (or the equivalent), your body will start to have issues.
Lastly, how is your daily diet? Are you loading up on fast food and processed foods? If so, this is another source of your chronic fatigue. Instead, load up on fruits and veggies (as much as you want). If possible, incorporating some nuts and healthy fish during the week will help too. And of course, always seek your doctor’s advice when altering your diet.
