Bottled Water Vs Tap Water .Taste The Difference ?

Last Sunday afternoon I was surfing  the net and came upon a comment on a London tourist forum   . A tourist in London was asking if the water was safe to drink , he said he noticed that nearly everybody he saw on the streets was drinking bottled water and was concerned whether this was because the tap water was unsafe to drink  . Fair question  Is your Tap water safe ? Do you drink bottled water  because you feel tap water is not safe.?

So lets debate this bottled water vs tap water .Is bottled water any better quality or is it just a huge Con. 

Well everybody must think so ,as the fastest growing segment in the beverage industry today  is water and  the manufacturers love it because of the huge profit it makes from it .Also , forgetting the quality for a minute and just have a think about the  huge environmental issue plastic drink bottles have to our world .

The madness of the current trend to buy water in bottles and  consume it and then throw it away is a concern and is becoming a huge headache for most government bodies , in the U.S alone 60.000.000 plastic bottled water are being bought and consumed in a matter of minutes and then thrown away .Just imaged the thought of all these plastic bottles in our landfill. This thought alone is frightening.

So getting back to quality in"bottled water vs tap water ".Is Bottled water a higher quality ?  Let me tell you that there has been a major change in opinion in the public that gives a this question some doubt.You see the advertising campaigns in bottled water really give the notion or fantasy that this water comes from untouched sources like beautiful pristine mountain springs or pure untouched underground aquifers .

Unfortunately the truth is  in the bottled water vs tap water debate is that the shop bought bottled water is no more than tap water in a plastic bottle .These are the facts . Most bottled water are bottled and sold within the same state to avoids federal regulations and there is absolute silence on requirement from the government that bottled water has to be a higher quality that tap water .

So there is some real doubt that bottled water is really no better than tap water and also has a huge environment issues attached to it in the amount of bottles are being dumped daily ,where does it leave us in choice and what can we do about it.Well I have for a few years now been  researching water purity and also water purifiers for the home and  use a home water filtration in my own home and I feel ,without doubt.that this becomes the best choice of water to drink as it gives a instant taste of fresh water without the chlorine taste  and also when going out, I use the right reusable container which can be refilled at home and  reused again without the guilt of my bottle being added to the thousands of plastic bottles dumped daily.

So now we have looked into the bottled water vs tap water debate. ,You need to do some research and find the best home water filtration.What you need to look out for in a product is its contaminant reduction capabilities and finding out how much does the system cost and its ongoing cost per gallon or litre of fresh water. Researching these key components will lead you to a product that will suit your needs.
