Judy Notte Howard introduces 101 innovative strength and conditioning activities that will... For those individuals that are on an exercise routine, is the reason to change your appearance or is it to become a healthier person? Does this matter when you just start a regiment and say you’ve had enough and it’s time to do something about it? Apparently it is; a study in the United Kingdom from myprotein.co.uk found that 75% of Britons are unhappy with their body shape, but only 1 in 3 is doing something about it. Of those that decided to start a diet and exercise routine the majority have pointed out that looking good is more important than feeling good. The others say that they want to do something, but just can’t seem to fit an exercise program into their schedule.
This can be somewhat misleading since those individuals that do reduce the amount of food that they have been eating and attempt to exercise at least 30 minutes a day 5 days a week will start to make their bodies healthier by default. The goal may be to fit into smaller clothing or maybe to attend an event looking much better than they did in the past, but exercise has been proven to be the magic key to health. I shared this in an article back on May 5th called the True Benefits of Exercise.
To look good takes some work as more women can attest than most men, but anyone that had issues with weight control can surly agree losing it and keeping it off takes some work. As a teen when our metabolism is very high the mere act of losing a few pounds could be as easy as slowing down on the eating for a few weeks and then the clothes we wanted would somehow fit. As we grow older (somehow we never seem to be able to grow younger) are bodies slow and weight gain is a greater chore for removal than before. We need to exercise along with the diet to effectively drop those pounds we used to do easily as a kid.
The obesity of the world is has started an alarm that many individuals need to do something about their body so that health should be the driving factor. If you get the benefit of looking better in the process so be it. What ever way you approach it doesn’t really matter and if someone tells you that you are looking good, think of them as a cheerleader for a more healthier you.
