Well as an owner of Mike Geary’s program myself, my answer is always “No”. But let me expand on my answer and give you the reasons why the truth about six pack abs has given me such amazing results.
Reason # 1 - Don’t Starve
Modern day diets encourage you to deprive yourself, claiming that the only way to burn belly fat is to eat fewer calories. But there are two problems with this: 1. Starving yourself actually makes it harder for your body to burn fat. 2. Eating the wrong type of calories will cause you to gain fat, even if you only eat very little.
So how do you get over this problem? Mike Geary encourages a ‘nutritional program’. This means that you focus on eating the foods that create a natural, fat burning, hormonal response every time you eat. What is more, you eat delicious foods, and you never go hungry.

Reason # 2 - Don’t Sweat
Well OK you will have to sweat to a certain extent, but the truth about abs does not force you to spend more time down at the gym to build those sexy flat abs.
In fact, Mike’s program is about spending less time at the gym by focussing on the exercises that burn the most fat in the last possible time. But how is this possible?
You see, we have been brainwashed into thinking that we need to do slow boring cardio, and exercises that focus on individual muscle groups (e.g. crunches, bicep curls) to get lean and ripped.
The reality is that these exercises are actually the least effective in burning belly fat. When people ask me how I managed to get a six pack they always expect me to tell them that I spend more time at the gym. When they hear that I actually spend less time working out they think I’m joking.
