Who’s your guide? Do you have an angel? We all have at least one, and its ourselves. That’s right, you are the single greatest influence in your life. The quality of your life is directly related to the quality of the choices you have made. It would be easy to wallow in the past and blame yourself for the poorer choices you had made that may be causing you to struggle now; but blame is not the what life is about. If your “self-talk” is full of blame, negativity and self-defeatism, you are acting as your own worst enemy.

So what should you do? For starters, take a few deep breaths! No take a few more. Deep breathing will open up your nervous system and your higher senses so you can have the clarity you need to raise your consciousness and change the polarity of your thinking. Next, talk to that guardian angel that is you and make a list of the new and better choices that you must make to get the results that you want. If you need help in doing this, get a coach to help you. You can change your attitude and a coach can then help you change your life. Here’s how:

• by providing the reflection you need to have proper perspective on your life
• by helping you to determine what goals you have for change and for your life
• by helping you to develop the tools you need to attain your goals
• by helping you correct your course along the way

No matter the problems you have, you don’t have to solve them alone. Change your internal dialogue. Support yourself in a positive manner. I like to give clients “little successes”. That is, simple goals that are not necessarily easy, but I know they can achieve. These little successes give them a sense of renewal, a fresh start and a positive energy to take on the next task, and the next and so on.

You don’t have to take on a long list of massive tasks to change your life. Quite the contrary. By steadily collecting the smaller goals, you easily achieve the bigger ones, easily and effortlessly.

To me this is like fishing. I’d rather come home a with a few smaller ones each and every time I go out to fish, rather than most often coming home empty handed because I was trying to catch the “big one”. That’s not to say that reeling in the “big ones” isn’t ever a great thrill, and probably more memorable than catching all the little ones. But fishermen don’t make their living from just catching the big fish; they have to catch a lot of little ones in between to survive. For you and I, our future is dependent on creating a steady lifestyle in order to develop the future we wish to have. Most of our success will be built on “little ones”… with a few “big ones” in between!

In health,

Give Us our Daily Bread - or Maybe not - Do you Have a Wheat Intolerance?
By: Dr. Brett Saks | 17/01/2008 | Wellness
I have found wheat to be one of the most abundant and problematic foods. I believe it to be the single largest contributor to intestinal dysbiosis, parasitic infections, and universal food allergies. Over-consumption and genetically-modified grains are the greatest causes of wheat intolerance and gluten sensitivity.
