Spot reduction in weight through a weight loss diet is a myth. In fact it is almost impossible difficult to find a diet plan which reduces your weight overnight!! Weight loss depends on a lot of physical factors besides diet which vary from individual to individual. When looking at weight loss, most of us would want it to happen the healthy way and certainly not the starvation way!
One of the other myths that people have is that starving can help you lose weight. Well, this in fact has the reverse effect. When the body is deprived of food for a longer period of time, the metabolic rate and the fat burning process reduces. This in effect results in fat deposits and accumulation and ultimately we end up gaining weight rather than shed.
One of the healthy ways to lose weight is to follow a "Calorie Shift" diet plan. This plan involves having a variety of foods which is balanced in nutrition. Have a different meal and vary the intake of proteins, carbohydrates and fats everyday so you will not feel the pinch of being on a diet plan. Meal time will in fact be a "Fun Time" and you will look forward to the meals. Unknowingly, the "Calorie Shift" diet plan will work wonders on your metabolic system and ensure a faster burnout of the calories. With the calorie Shift plan, the metabolism is in a constant "high burning" mode as it keeps getting constant fuel for the burnout.
In today's fast paced times and busy schedules, it may not be possible for us to work out regularly or have meals as per the diet plans. In meeting deadlines and balancing home, work and social commitments we often tend to neglect our body. However that does not mean that we cannot lose weight. A few easy checks can help us keep the metabolism working continuously which will take care of our calorie count.
• 5 small meals - 3 large meals
• Regular eating habits - Avoid late night snacks
• Sleep 3 hours after dinner - Avoid sleep immediately post meal
• Balanced diet - Cut intake of carbohydrates
If you are looking at a perfect and healthy diet, consider the following arithmetic:
• Addition (+) of lots and lots of fruits with green and leafy vegetables leads to Multiplication (X) of the metabolic rate
• Subtraction (-) of chicken, fish and egg to some extent leads to Division (÷) of fatty food and accelerates the metabolic rate
If you are not so inclined to do all the work necessary for your own proper meal planning, no matter what diet plan you are on; then you should consider an all inclusive type of diet plan which includes nutritious, tasty meals delivered right to your front door.
