  1. Reduce Sugar & Carbohydrates

High sugar foods increase fat rapidly. Hence, it is recommended to try reducing foods containing sugar to reduce fat. Food items such as packaged fruit drinks, sweet biscuits, rice, soft drinks, corn flakes, dates have high glycemic index. The glycemic index for sugar is 68, and for the listed foods it is greater than 68.  It is recommended to have products made of wheat such as wheat biscuits, breads, fresh fruit juices, low carb rice etc in your diet.

  1. Cut Down on Red Meat

Red meat such as beaf, lamb are some of the major contributors of fat. To reduce the intake of red meat, remove all the visible fats and also maintain a 100 gram/week intake level of red meat which would help in reducing the fat. The best substitute for red meat is fish and it has abundance of proteins in it.

  1. Reduce Alcohol Consumption

Make a diet plan that will have a minimal amount of alcohol consumption. People those who are addicted to alcohol and are not able to cut down the consumption, it is better to reduce to 100ml of wine a day which contains very less calories.

  1. Increase Vegetable & Fruits intake

Vegetable and fruits contain less fat and they are also low in calories. So try increasing the intake of vegetables and fruits which can also be the best alternative for meat and sugar. Green vegetables play a vital part in dieting. It is good to have green vegetable salads or semi cooked salad for your meal. Increase the proportion of carrot, cabbage, onions, cucumber in your daily routine. However, it is good to avoid potatoes, tomatoes, brinjal, apples, and bananas as they are high in calorie.

  1. Increase the intake of Water

Water is one of the major contributors to good health. Intake of water reduces hunger and helps in proper working of digestive system. It is advocated to drink up to 8 liters of water per day. This will allow the person to consume less food and also helps in burning of calories easily. Drinking some amount of hot water after a meal will help in reducing the accumulation of oily fats. This is an important tip to be followed in the ways to reduce fat.

  1. Reduce fatty & fried foods

For any fat reduction diets, try and reduce the intake of deep fried foods. Food which contains more fat such as milk chocolates, evening snacks for tea are deep fried and should be avoided. Instead take skimmed milk, salads, low fat nuts, grains fried without oil. This would help you in reducing the fat.
