For those diabetics on a 1,800 calorie plan your breakfast might contain the following; a couple of slices of bread with a cup of skimmed milk, a tablespoon of cheese and a serving of some fresh fruit like apple, banana orange. These are just samples you can follow. But it is best to check your physician or ask the help of a dietitian to guide you in your food choices.

Make sure that what you eat is healthy, organic and without too much preservatives. A healthy diabetic diet must be coupled with exercise, a brisk walk or some work out. That way, your blood circulation is working at its best. A good blood circulation helps do away with heart ailments, hypertension, stroke or other related diseases.
