Fall is here, winter is around the corner. For those of you that live in the Midwest or Northeast you know that the season brings shorter days and many more hours of darkness in our days! This can be hard to adjust to and often times leave us feeling restless, down in the dumps and like we can never get enough sleep.
You may not realize that the type of sleep you get or the way you wake up can have more of an impact on how you feel than the amount of sleep you actually get.
In past articles I have talked about how starting your day with a natural, relaxed wake up can drastically improve how you feel, your attitude in the morning and your ability to tackle the day stress free. This makes sense when you think about it. How happy are you in the morning when you wake to a blaring radio or beep…beep….beep…beep of your alarm clock? If you are like me, instantly mad that you were jarred from deep sleep by something so annoying! Now, envision, waking up to the soft sounds of a waterfall or waves rolling into shore, or the beautiful sounds of a rainforest? Sound a little more relaxing? Now, let us take it a step further with how you fall asleep. Imagine drifting off to dreamland to the soothing sounds of a summer rain, or the ocean surf or wind chimes? I don’t know about you, but this sounds much more relaxing and peaceful than dead silence, busy streets and blaring alarm clocks!
A very highly recommended product to do all of this is a sound therapy machine. They are common in spas, specific healthcare settings as well as for the general consumer. The Sound Oasis Sound Therapy System dually functions as a clock and a sound machine. It features clinically proven sounds from world renowned doctors and the world’s finest authentic nature sounds, this sound therapy system will block out irritating noises, help circumvent tinnitus discomfort and create a soothing atmosphere so you fall asleep easier, get higher quality sleep, enhance concentration, and feel more alert and comfortable throughout the day. You can also get an add on sound cards for this sound therapy machine such as Sleep Sounds for Baby, Spa Retreat and Ear Therapy sound cards.
You will honestly be amazed at the benefits one a Sound Oasis Sound Therapy System provides. They are great for this time of year and make the perfect gift idea!
