What Is The Difference Between Bottled Water And Tap Water – Truth Revealed

Bottled water has always been surrounded by controversies. It is the quality of this water which has long been debated. The easy and only way to end this discussion is to find the answer to the most important question i.e. what is the difference between bottled water and tap water? Read on to find out the answer.

People today understand the fact that the water reaching their homes is badly contaminated and harmful for consumption. In this dilemma, they sometimes end up consuming bottled water thinking that now they have saved themselves from all the water borne diseases that are caused due to consumption of contaminated water.

The problem here is that these people simply believe whatever is shown or written in the advertisements for bottled water. They do not try to find out the truth themselves. Let me ask you. Have you really taken a step forward and tried to find out what is the difference between bottled water and tap water?

What if I tell you that bottled water is nothing but tap water bottled up beautifully and sold in market for a higher price? Shocking - Isn’t it?

I too was shocked. The question what is the difference between bottled water and tap water, kept bothering me. And it was then that I decided to do some further research in this area. Here are the true facts:-

- Bottled H2O is nothing but tap water itself.

- There is no regulation applied on the quality of this water and hence there are practically no checks on the water quality. Without any rules and regulations in place, there is no guarantee that the water that they are selling for high prices is really clean or not.

- Some water companies use a cheap quality of plastic for their bottles. This plastic has the property of seeping into the water and contaminating it further. It means that the bottled water can be even more contaminated than tap water!

- The plastic used for these bottles is not eco-friendly, it adds up to the pollution. These bottles just land up in landfills and will be there even after centuries.

Tell me, do you see any logic in paying more than double price for buying water which is freely available in your taps? I don’t think so. And I am sure you too will agree to this.

What is the solution then?

The best and most trusted way to ensure the quality of the drinking water is to purify it yourself. It is not difficult to find a good water purifier which can efficiently remove all sorts of impurities from the water, leaving you with nothing but clean and pure water.

With the question “what is the difference between bottled water and tap water” answered, it is time for you to make the right choice now.
