What most people do when they realized they are overweight or put too much weight on is to eat less than they used to. Why? because it the only thing that makes sense to us, to fix the source of overweight problem by eating less food should bring back the happiness. Everywhere you look for an answer about diet, they're all saying that eat less is the way to go. Sure, it sounds like the way to go but as easy as it to say it is also isn’t the way to go.
Yes! You heard me right. I am saying to you that eating less isn't going to fix anything! I hear you say "hooray! Then I can eat the same amount of food what a great news!". Just wait a minute and let’s think about this first. We as human species has been revolutionized and faced hunger many times before in our tough history and we also found our way out of hunger as well. Today, we are what's left of those heroes who survived in starvation long time ago. So, eating less isn't going to do you any good because when you eat less your body will survive just the same. Our can adapt to anything, when you eat less your body will adapt to take less amount of energy produced and capacity of your body will be limited which considered to be our body's defending mechanism.
Therefore, if you can't solve the overweight problem by eating less because our body's defending mechanism then we have to go around it. And the solution is simply eat smarter not eat less. The worst part is that an overweight person can eat approximately the same amount of calories per day as a thin person but he or she still stays fat because both the overweight and the thin have one thing in common which is they both required the same amount of food. Nevertheless, overweight people usually do eat a lot more that thin people who likely to prefer complex carbohydrates food that can be easily extracted and metabolized by our body. Our body just love to work with this complex carbohydrates food. Thus, kind of food is what separates the overweight and the thin not how much they eat.
No matter what you may have heard about diet, it's a process that takes time. Keep in mind that it's not an overnight process. Everyday, millions of overweight people are looking for the way to get thin from Internet and magazines and found the modern methods involving diet pill and diet cream that sound too good to be true. They're all saying that it can make your overweight problem go away in an instant. If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. If you've come to read this you should probably heard many advertisements and a lot of promising in incredible magic’s those products can do. I can only say that nothing is that easy.
From my experience, the truth of losing your weight the best way is about choosing the right food. What you put in your stomach that counts. Avoiding fat food and exercise more is the way to go. It has been said many times that dieting without exercise is somewhat pointless because as you may experienced, no matter how little you eat all the weight loss will come back in months if you find your self not exercising at all. Our eating habits in all of us is the work force behind the huge amount of increasing overweight people around the globe. Our office or all that working-in-front-of a-computer-jobs with fat fast food is leading us to the most important problem in our heath. The quick easy life we're living now has the price to pay as well.
