One of the many questions that pops up from time to time is if absenthe has often been referred to as the green “fairy” in the past is it OK for real men to drink it. It is important to bear in mind that when absinthe was “discovered” in the late 1700s real men were “a dime a dozen”. This is because, back then life was hard and the world was a much more dangerous place. It was a time when men were men and sheep were scared, so real men didn't give much thought to it when they did man things like drink absinthe while they herded their frightened sheep.
