There are many wines to choose from these days, and it’s a safe bet to say that wine has come into its own over the past few years. In fact the move towards positive wine consumption and wine tasting has grown over the years to a very sizeable level, and the benefits of those are what you’re reaping today when you go wine hunting.
And since there are so many wines and different varietals of wines out there to choose from, it does get difficult at times to decide which wines are right for your palate. Like I said there many different types of wines and my goal here is to orient you with as many of them as possible.
Don’t get very excited though, this list is by no means complete, nor does it contain all the possible known wine varieties. That would be beyond the scope of this article and me. But it does contain a healthy amount of information which I hope will at least get you started in the right direction. You will also notice as you read through this list that I haven’t given any personal opinions on the wines themselves, and that’s for a very good reason.
I am by no means a wine giant in the wine industry and won’t pretend to be so, nor am I a wine expert to be able to tell you that such and such a wine is good, and that you should try it out. What I advocate is for you to try out the different wines on your own and at your leisure, and to decide for yourself what your personal preferences are.
And if you don’t like a wine then put it aside, but don’t close yourself off to it. If you come back to it later on in your wine tasting life, and try it again, you might find that you like it better now.
