Candida Natural Cure - What to Expect From Candida Die-Off

Candida naturally exists as part of the healthy intestinal flora, but it can overgrow when this flora, or our immune systems, are compromised. Our goal with any case of Candida overgrowth (candidiasis) is to kill off the yeast back to its normal levels using a Candida natural cure. Unfortunately, the death of Candida is itself a toxic business. This toxicity causes a brief, but adverse reaction, known as Candida die off.

In a natural Candida remedy, we want to starve the yeast of its food and attack it with friendly bacteria (probiotics). The dying Candida release lots of toxins that our bodies struggle to cope with. Having suffered from Candida overgrowth for a while before killing it off, we are often at a low ebb in terms of our general health. Our liver, kidneys and immune system are often temporarily overwhelmed under the extra burden of dying yeast cells.

Typically, the symptoms of Candida die off are similar to those of flu. You may feel that your general symptoms of candidiasis have just got worse! Don't worry - this is to be expected. Exactly when they start, and how long they last, varies from person to person. Different people have different levels of overgrowth and different capabilities for flushing out the toxins. Some people may only be adversely affected for a day or two. Others may feel worse for up to a couple of weeks.

You can take some steps to minimise the impact and the duration of the die off. Take a quality vitamin and mineral supplement (if you don't already). Drink lots of fresh filtered water. Get a good night's sleep. Rest and relax as much as possible.

It's easier said than done, but try to stay positive during the die off. On the bright side, at least you know that your Candida natural cure is working and your lifestyle changes are having an effect. Trust me, there is light at the end of that tunnel and it's definitely worth the discomfort once you get there.
