Nail Care Tips: The DO'S

DO sip plenty of water every day. It's good for your over-all health and a well hydrated body leads to healthy nails. Cracked nails usually tend to signal the need for sizable fluid intake.
DO apply varnish remover prior to applying nail polish. This wipes any grease on the exterior of the nail and gives additional life to the nail polish, so ensure you do this irrespective of whether there is old polish on your nails or not.
DO take vitamin addendums unless your doctor suggests otherwise due to other health considerations. Vitamins A, C, E, and B12 are primarily important. Again, calcium, zinc, iron, protein, and folic acid will support to prevent white marks looking on the nails and prevent nails from getting crumbly. Research the foods which provide you with these crucial vitamins and addendums.
DO use a good grade buffer advisably once a week, no more than twice a week. Double check not to buff too actively and not for too long to prevent damaging the nail. Just a brief gentle buff prior to applying nail polish should help to prevent the polish from peeling due to a mordant or uneven surface on the nail.
DO use a soft nail file rather than an emery board. Emery boards may be extraordinarily nasty and harm the nail effortlessly unless used with great care. More desirable to use a soft cushion nail file and wash it routinely for repeated use. It roughly goes without saying; metal nail files are a certain NO NO!
DO put on safeguarding gloves when doing any job that requires the hands to be dunk in water or come in contact with chemicals. Preferably use gloves with cotton lining so they stay dry inside. Fungus loves a humid environment.
DO give eagle eye to the cuticles continually, using a moisturizing cream frequently to prevent the cuticles from drying out. Overgrown and ungroomed cuticles may adversely affect nail growth.

Nail Care Tips: The DON'TS

DON'T file backwards and forwards as this may cause splits in the nails which get even worse if water tries to pierce after hand washing. Rather use a mild one way stroking action with the file with a small patience.
DON'T file the corners of the nail as this can puncture them and make them more susceptible to peeling. File straight across in a way that produces a soft, oval shape. Pointed nails break effortlessly.
DON'T file nails when they are humid. Make sure they are exhaustively dry.
DON'T use varnish remover and reapply nail polish more than once or twice a week. Preferably select a varnish remover that contains moisturizers to prevent the nails drying out.
DON'T use your nails to scratch hard surfaces, pick at an object, remove staples, or serve as a digging stuff. Just take a minute to get a proper stuff for the job and prevent sacrificing your nails!
DON'T over manicure the cuticles as this may harm them causing them to thicken and overgrow.
DON'T ever cut the cuticles or use metal or sharp objects to push them back. Purchase proper stuff for the job, an Orange Stick. Hold it at an angle and gently push the cuticles back without damaging them. Using a cuticle remover first will help to make the job easier and prevent damaging this sensitive skin.

After a nail care session, conduct a little test. To see how silky your nails genuinely are, run them down an old pair of pantyhose. Any snags will support you locate the nail that wants additional attention.

The nail care tips enumerated above need some time and effort and probably a little initial investment to find the necessary proficient supplies. Be that as it may, once you have them and get into a nail care routine, the gains will make it all worthwhile.

You will feel confident and expose your nails with pleasure.

By: trudijane555 | 09-05-2008
A year ago, a woman pressed charges against me for shoplifting. The officer was nice, and she was angry so I just wrote a letter because a lot had to do with my state of mind. He told me that he would present all the facts to the DA and I would be hearing from them if he/she felt it merited a case. Well, I NEVER heard from them by mail or otherwise that there was a warrant out for my arrest; bail $1500, and I was given 2 court dates. If I had known I was supposed to appear in court for this case, I would have. Unlike my actions of late, I'm generally a responsible person. I thought she either changed her mind about pressing charges OR the DA didn't think it merited the evidence as a case because the merchandise was returned and it was not very expensive. Yesterday, was a disaster and I don't know how to get through all this. I honestly feel like taking my own life. Please help
