A yeast infection home remedy is preferable to drugs. Yeast infection is a condition caused by an overgrowth of the fungus Candida albicans. Vinegar Bath – Combine one cup of sea salt and one cup apple cider vinegar to your bath water and soak for 30 minutes. This will create an acidic environment that the yeast don't like. Fans of apple cider vinegar also swear by adding two tablespoon of vinegar to one cup of water and drinking this mixture twice a day while infected.

Colloidal Silver taken daily has been claimed by some to quickly clear up candidiasis.

Tea Tree Oil - Saturate a tampon with tea tree oil and leave inserted overnight. (yogurt with live cultures could be substituted for the tea tree oil) Repeat nightly for a week.

Aloe may quickly help with the itching when spread on the affected area.

Grapefruit Seed Extract. 10-15 drops in your morning juice everyday for a month has been said to permanently clear up an infection. Some people also recommend a daily dose of olive leaf extract together with the grapefruit seed extract.
