Resistant Yeast Infection - Why Antibiotics and Antifungal Medication Can Be Causing It

A resistant yeast infection as it's name suggests is very hard to get rid of. And antibiotics can play a big part in this along with mainstream yeast treatments. Here, you'll discover why you have resistant yeast infection and how to deal with it.

Antibiotics has been a blessing in modern times and has saved countless lives. Unfortunately, it can also be a curse, because as well as killing off the 'bad' bacteria, it also kills of the 'good bacteria' in our bodies. And we really need the good bacteria to fight many things in our lives.

You see, yeast infection is caused by a yeast-like fungus called 'Candida albicans' that we nearly all of us have in our bodies, quite naturally. And normally it doesn't cause us any harm because our 'friendly' bacteria (the good guys) keeps it in check and stops it growing.

Unfortunately, where the numbers of good bacteria reduce sufficiently, the Candida fungus can then 'overgrow' causing a yeast infection. Now, there are several things that can help to compromise the levels of friendly bacteria, but one of the most potent is the use of antibiotics.

Antibiotics overuse is probably the number one cause of friendly bacteria depletion, because the antibiotics cannot differentiate between good and bad bacteria; it just kills them all, upsetting the critical friendly bacteria balance in our bodies. The result of this is that, as long as you're taking antibiotics, the chances of getting cured of your yeast infection by using mainstream drug-based treatments are limited.

In addition, the drug-based topical creams, gels, etc., that you get over-the-counter and even through prescription, attack the local symptoms and not the root cause(s) of the infection, such as; antibiotics overuse and a compromised immune system. Plus, the Candida fungus can build-up a resistance to the drugs, making them ineffective over time.

The result of the above is resistant yeast infection, that becomes increasingly difficult to eliminate. But there is a way around the problem...

Tens of thousands of women are now taking responsibility for their health by turning to completely natural remedies to get rid of their resistant yeast infections. Not only are they addressing their symptoms, they are addressing the underlying issues as well, such as; diet, weight, lifestyle, medications, etc.

If you would like to find out more about how they have gone about this, please go now to http://how-to-get-rid-of-a-yeast-infection.blogspot.com where you'll get the facts on how you too could eliminate resistant yeast infection fast and permanently.
