I had lost hope in losing weight!! I weighed in at 280lbs and 40% body fat a year ago and all signs of bad health started to set in. I used to sweat like a faucet, snored like a train and had to take a pause on every floor climbing to my sixth floor apartment.
The doctor told me I would soon start having cardiac problems if I didn’t do something about my weight.
It was either I lose the weight or I would have a cardiac arrest at 25 years. I knew I had to do something. And fast. I started with the Atkins diet and actually lost some 15lbs in the first 4 weeks.
I was over the moon. But then everything reached a plateau. I was not gaining any weight neither was I loosing any. I was at that dreaded fitness plateau when all you do is eat cabbage and carrots and nothing gives.
After 5 more weeks with the diet regimen, I lost hope and gave in again. I completely stopped dieting and started my earlier bad eating behavior. Bad call!
In two weeks after the Atkins diet regimen stopped working for me, I had gained 30lbs. How on earth did I end up getting even fatter than when I started?
I looked into the internet for a workable fat loss program. I looked high and low. I prowled over hundreds of websites that offer methods of burning fat and building muscles.
I needed some killer abs if I was to improve my self esteem and start dating again.
It is then I stumbled onto this guy, Tom Venturo’s program. Tom is a body builder who has mastered the art of converting body fat into hard lean and tight body muscle.
The guy has been in the industry for more than 25 years. He has a BSc. degree in exercise science, is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and a certified personal trainer (NSCA-CPT).
Tom is also a member of the International Society for Sports Nutrition (ISSN), the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Strength And Conditioning Association (NSCA).
He has been a competitive bodybuilder and won three state and three regional championships. He even went as far as 2nd place in the Mr. Natural USA and 2nd in the Mr. Natural North America contests.
I joined his program immediately. Not because he had all these great fitness instructor qualifications but because of only one thing. He had never used supplements, performance enhancement drugs or any of that stuff that messes you up.
Tom is a natural muscle development expert, pure and simple. He has used himself as a guinea pig to get to where he is.
I came to learn a very important thing that most people looking for ways to lose weight and burn fat into muscle didn’t know.
And that is, how to work with your metabolism to your advantage. You actually do not have to live in a gym for the rest of your live.
That is the reason most people trying to lose body fat end up gaining more, just like I did. Over 95% of all diets fail to deliver weight loss.
The 5% who are successful are the ones that manage to make their body metabolism rate work with them.
I was on Tom’s program for 4 weeks and I lost 20lbs. I have been following the body fat reduction program for close to a year now and I weigh in at 180lbs and 11% body fat measured by a waist pinch.
Now that is some success story. And I’m not done yet. I have just started a body toning program after successfully turning my fat to muscle and I’m revving to go.
One thing is true, just like my trainer, Tom Venturo, my mouth has never tasted a supplement ever since. These supplement companies have been using very compelling language and promises to make you believe their formulas work. You probably spend $100-300 a month on supplements.
Now I ask you, have they worked for you? I’m sure they haven’t and guess what, they won’t. Its time you considered a natural fat loss program and none other is as popular as what I’m recommending to you right now. Take it or leave it, it’s your fat… I lost mine a year a go with Tom.
