10 Tips on How to Win a Bikini Contest

Are you entering a bikini competition or beauty pageant this summer? Here are 10 tips that can help you win.

1. Have fun
Bikini contests are supposed to be fun, if the audience see you and see a person who would prefer to be somewhere else you are hopeless.

2. Smile and show teeth
You are having fun, remember?

3. High heels
Walking on high heels gives you a better posture and your legs and body will look better, but make sure you can walk on those heels! If not it will only look stupid.

4. A dark tan
A well tanned body show off your features in a better way and hides spots and bruises.

5. Shake that booty
The audience truly appreciate a shaking bum. But it's no good if you look like a robot. Practice a little bit in front of the mirror in advance to make sure you do it the right way (hot, smooth and sexy).

6. Flirt with the audience
Say hello to them and throw them some kisses to encourage some positive responses. It is well appreciated.

7. Choose a shiny bikini
Wear a shiny bikini in strong colors. A glossy pink bikini will be a lot more easy on the eyes than a boring black one.

8. Icy cold?
When you enter the stage your bikini needs to have two bumps indicating that you just came out of a cold room. It just looks better!

9. Confidence
Act confident and secure on stage, but don't take it too far. No one wants a snobby girl to win.

10. The prettiest girl will not always win
It is not the most attractive body that wins. You do not need to have gigantic breasts or ass cheeks made of steel. But you must show that you love your body and you are confident in showing it off. A pretty girl on the stage, is just that, a pretty girl. Do your best and show enthusiasm and you'll make a more lasting impact on the audience and the judges.

Why are bikini competitions and beauty pageants so popular? The authenticity factor is probably one of the most important reasons on why these sort of competitions are so in demand. These contests seems authentic because real students are participating. Many contests are hiring bikini models to increase the quality of the participants, but in a bikini model atmosphere many regular studentswho would like to compete end up watching, because they feel they are out of place and only will make a fool out of themselves when competing against professionals.

The original bikini contest phenomenon were based on real everyday girls getting wild and showing off in bikinis, the influx of professional models in this game is sad for all the wild party girls who would like to compete for the prizes.

The trend is bucking towards a more grown up and slightly less sexy version though. Did you know that more and more bikini and beauty competitions add the "formal dress thing" to their competition. It's glamorous and a nice little break from focusing solely on the body of the contestants.

I hope these tips are helpful and good luck!
