Candle Gift Baskets Send Warmth

  • Related Q&A

When looking for a great gift idea for a woman, a candle gift basket is a great way to surprise her and extend your best wishes. Candles send warmth, a feeling of coziness, and a sense of home and peacefulness. Candle gift baskets are more readily available in stores for women, as it is women that are more likely to buy and burn candles in their homes. A candle gift basket would be a perfect gift idea for a Valentine's Day gift for that special lady in your life. Candle gift baskets vary in style and theme as widely as any other type of gift baskets that are available, so it's a good idea to have some basic knowledge about the person to whom you are sending this gift. If not, try to pick a somewhat generic candle gift basket that would be sure to please just about anyone.

A Glowing Friendship is Recognized with a Candle Gift Basket

In most cases, a candle gift basket will come with more than one candle and a decorative candle holder or plate on which to place the candle while it burns. Often, a candle gift basket with friendship as it's theme will include a stationary set with both large and small note cards, memo pads, envelopes, postcards, an address book, pen or pencil sets, a small photo album or frame and either tea or coffee. Of course, the amount of extras you add depend on the size of the basket and your budget.

Pampered Perfectly with Candles

A more lavish concept, and generally more expensive candle gift basket, is one that carries a "day at the spa" type of theme. These gift basket styles generally contains quite a bit of "pampering in a bottle" with items such as bath soaps, bubble bath, massage tool, body scrubs, bath salts, shower gel, hand and body lotions, a bath mitt, sponge, bath pillow and an eye mask. The quantity of products in a basket such as this depends on the size of the basket.

The Thought is the True Treasure

Candle gift baskets are as varied as the women who receive them. If you can't seem to find what you are looking for when shopping in the retail stores or online, don't be afraid to create your own candle gift basket. The first step is to purchase a basket or other type of container in which to hold your gift items. After you have found your gift basket, you will need to purchase candles that will match the recipient's favorite color or interior colors of their home or office. Then, supplement the candles with candle holders, bath and body items, potpourri, a teapot and a collection of teas and coffee, or anything else you can find that you feel your friend would truly enjoy. As with any gift, it is the thought that counts.
