I unfortunately do not remember the title of the article or the name of the author, but several week ago I read an article in the Hindustan times suggesting that Kashmir be partitioned along Hindu and Muslim lines, which the article implied were faily well defined. The Muslim area would then be free to join Pakistan, should it wish to do so.

I have some questions regarding money to india process.
Here they are,
1. Is money transferred to Indian savings account ( non NRE/NRO) taxable ? At what rate ?
2. Why there are various categories like Family expenses etc. ? What importance they have ? Are there various tax rules for these categories ?
3. Can I transfer money to an ICICI bank account of my friend ? Do I hold any liability for tax in that case ?
4. If I tranfer more than 2L rupees in my/others savings account in India, then is it considered as my/other's income in India ?
