Bad Essay Writers: are You One of Them?

ARE there ways to find out if you're one of the many bad essay writers around, despite the fact that essay writing is your no. 1 passion?
The answer is YES! And listed below are the qualities that make bad essay writers. Take note if, as an essay writer, you have the following traits:
1. I love to write essays, but only when I feel like writing. I don't believe in what expert essay writers say that I have to write an essay on just about anything every now and then to polish my skill—I might lose or diminish my "creative talent" if I exploit it too often. If I have the talent, it would always naturally come out, no need to practice to make it perfect.
2. I hate to read. Browsing the works of other gifted essay writers will just pollute the originality and creativeness of my thoughts, and I might be accused of picking up on their styles. As long as I'm conscious with my grammar and I have a way with words, then I'm on track.
3. One rough draft is just fine with me. And who says that good essay writing is all about writing and re-writing an essay or essays? Genuine essay writers never revise their work, as they are able to write in order what comes out of their brilliant minds. Only dumb and slow writers revise their work over and over again.
4. I don't need a lot of experiences in life. To write convincing essays, why does it have to follow that I should have a lot of experiences in life? I believe more in the saying that, "Imagination is the most wonderful substitute for any experience."
5. I always start at the beginning. No matter what and no matter how, I must adhere to a process, which is to always start at the beginning of my essay—and that's even if I have a very good idea for the middle or for the last part of my piece of writing. I have to follow a certain path or pattern when it comes to essay writing.
6. I edit as I go. I would rather write nothing than stuff my paper with trash. And each of the sentences in my essay must not be left unpolished.
7. I write essays simultaneously. If I couldn't focus on a certain essay, I would write another one—it's better to reroute my energy to a more doable writing activity. Whether I could come up with something that's worth reading or not, I can write more than a couple of essays at the same time.
8. I use a lot of highfalutin words. Why write to express what it is that I feel when I can impress my readers and give them the inkling that I have a high level of brain power? After all, it's not my fault if I am an exceptional essay writer and they are not! Prefer the complex over the simple, try to use complicated words for a change. If you follow this technique, you could lengthen all your essays effortlessly.
9. I am addicted with my writing style. It's not part of essay writers' job to bring in fresh ideas to the world. If I change my style of writing every now and then, I might lose all my readers.
10. I am contented with topics that I can only write. Why do I have to learn how to meow when I can only bark in the first place? The same principle goes in essay writing. I would rather concentrate on writing essays about topics where I am good at. I don't need to explore or experiment as it will not get me to anywhere.
If you have more than five of these qualities that typify bad essay writers, then you're at the wrong path. But if you are determined to become an exceptional essay writer, just do the opposite of every negative trait listed above. Remember that change is always good! Happy essay writing!
