Technology has reached almost all the world. There is no place left where people are not aware of the wonders that the growth in technology is doing. PCs are one of such wonders. We find computers in almost every house and everyone in the family knows how to use them. In addition to these computers, internet was invented. Internet has spread all around the world. Internet is used by millions of people everyday. Internet is a great source to get information, to share information, talk to people, send messages, etc... the list is endless and so are the benefits we get due to internet. Internet has become a necessity for many people. For some businesses, internet has become very essential. It is an easy way to send and get data, information, and many things which are essential for a business to work fast and smoothly. Thus, many businesses have come up through internet, which pay people for doing some amount of work online. Getting paid for working online could be one of the easiest ways to earn.

Many companies promote their products and services through the internet. These companies find out different ways to advertise themselves. One such way is submitting articles related to their services on websites so that people would read and know about the company. These companies hire article writers to write on related topics. Then the writer send the articles to the company or submit them to other websites that accept articles, e.g. ezines, article directories, etc. These articles are written as per the needs of the company. The company pays the article writer some amount of money for their work. Thus, earning has become easy for freelancers with good writing skills, due to internet and the ways of promotion used by companies to advertise online. This is beneficial to both, the company and the writer and thus, this method of advertising is increasing. Article writing can be fun and can lead the writer to specialize and write on particular subjects which are interesting to him. For some people writing might be a hobby. Thus, writing articles can be a very easy task for them and a source of income too. This can be done by anyone, even students. Everyone wants to make money and if there are ways like this to earn, it is welcome.

To start writing articles the writer only needs the topic to be written about, and sometimes specific requirements from the company, such as article length (word count), specific content by providing the article title, etc. It can be done by anyone who knows to write. Information about the topic can be found out from the internet itself. Thus, it may not be a problem with students who don't have much knowledge about the topic. Hence, the main thing to consider would be the company's needs according to which the article has to be written.

Article writing and making money online becomes very easy as there are many companies that want to advertise their business, products and services on the internet. Thus, this way of promotion used by companies helps people to earn from home just by writing articles. These articles can be written at anytime of the day, at any place and by anyone. Thus, it is one of the most preferred ways to earn as well as to advertise. Articles after submission can be found everywhere and this is also beneficial to the people as they come to know about many topics which they might not have knowledge about.

There is tough competition among companies and thus, the amount paid by companies to writers could vary. Some companies might pay the writer much higher than others to get better quality articles that can bring better marketing benefits. Thus it becomes profitable for both, the business and the writer. Article writing has proved to be a good source of income if the individual has the capability to write good and a high number of articles.
